Spring Wedding in the English Countryside

“A good marriage is one where each partner secretly suspects they got the better deal” – Anonymous

After 10 years together, Lil and James had an idyllic wedding in the Norfolk countryside in the beginning of April.

With the use of their family’s house and gardens, the reception, dinner and party were held in two marquees in the garden. A tunnel united the two marquees.

With flowers in her hair and a wedding dress from Emma Victoria Payne, Lil looked absolutely stunning. The catering, flower arrangements and Lils beautiful bouquet (which I want to copy when I get married) was made by Fiona Black, the mother of the bride.

After the service, we went off for some quick photos with the flower girls and page boys. The married couple then walked through a tunnel with a shower of confetti before leaving the church in a vintage Jaguar.

During the reception, the ushers walked around with sandwich boards revealing the table seating plan. Post dinner and fireworks (gifted by the best man) the whole wedding danced the night away.

When it was time for me to head home, I did not want to leave. The whole wedding had such an incredible atmosphere and it felt like being around my own friends and family.

I finally left feeling happy and content that I had captured a fantastic day for Lil and James.
